Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior Make-Up, created a luminous make-up look with eyes delicately emphasized in light gold, for the Spring- Summer 2021 Haute Couture collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri shot by Elina Kechicheva.
“I wanted to create a make-up look bathed in softness thanks to a translucent complexion, and eyes lit up with a satiny gold, applied subtly to the eyelid and more intensely to the inner corner of the eye.”
Peter Philips explained that “in order to open and brighten the eyes, I chose one of the shades from the 5 couleurs couture 579 jungle palette and applied a halo of satiny gold to the eyelid. I used the same soft and luminous shade to emphasize the inner corner of the eye. next, I tidied and structured the brows using DIORSHOW Brow Styler and DIORSHOW Pump ´n’ Brow for a natural effect.”
Peter Philips describes a “soft and perfect complexion that is even and translucent, with skin previously prepped and hydrated using the capture totale super potent serum and capture totale firming and wrinkle-correcting creme routine.
Next, I started by applying the Primer Dior Forever Skin Veil spf 20, which blurs the complexion, followed by a light application of Dior Forever in Matte Finish, which provides both coverage and translucency.
For touch-ups I used a drop of Dior Forever Skin Correct, then I applied a very light dusting of Dior Forever Cushion Powder for a natural, velvety finish.”
