New York dazzles us again with an architectural project really wonderful: the Lowline devised by James Ramsey and Daniel Barash, still in the pipeline but next to his inauguration. The project involves the conversion of a tram station abandoned beneath the streets of the Lower East Side of Manhattan to create what will be the world's largest underground park with thousands of species of plants that survive thanks to innovative solar technologies that would beam of sunlight.
Who would have guessed that the underground could be so charming...
