It is still a Sardinian legend, the ritual of Argia, to inspire the Fall Winter 2016|2017 collection by Quattromani. According to the tale, when someone is bitten by the argia, a poisonous spider whose bite is sometimes fatal, the only way to heal the victim is lead her to smile through songs, rhymes and dances, sometimes scandalous, by three women: a nubile, a married and a widow.
A stylistic metissage with a neo-artisanal taste for extremely feminine allure and neo-seventies shapes, starting points to give consistency to the legend. In this way sleek silhouettes are created in the full color pencil skirt and cloth trousers or in the full- print gabardine pantskirts. Ultimately the shape gets more tapered and floating in the midi dress with neck now and the almost impalpable maxi dress, becoming then soft and flowing in the coat with multicolor ecofur inserts.
Colors. The main protagonist of the collection, the argia, even for the palette of colors which it feeds: mustard and red are the contrasts of black and blue, where flashes of candy pink and blue involved details in knitting alternating with white and camel.
Materials. Mohair cloth mat, wool drap, crepe, organza micro-barré, technical "nowind", printed gauze dressing, wool jersey, knitted with tubulars, eco fur. Finally, yet tradition throught the fabric with "pibiones" manufactoring typical of the Sardinian tradition.
