The collection boasts an array of materials and textures: ultra-dense cashmere, fluffy mohair, rich velvet and corduroy and also supple leathers. Luxury satins resonate with the noble and sophistication of this era.

The jubilation of the prints and graphic motifs are present throughout the collection. «Vinci» inspired jacquards, fresh Botticelli flower seedlings, the mysteries of light and dark landscapes, all take part in this mysterious journey through time and space.

An explosion of colours, contrasts of electric yellow and black tartans, bright blue & black, violet and orange & black. Sparkling black dots stand out on a ruby and blood orange background. In this collection, one can discover velvety autumn tones inspired by precious stones and coppery golds and, of course, the immaculate white signifying false virginity.

A sleek annunciation of silhouettes, perfecto suits, down jackets and pencil skirts, dust covers and draped dresses, overlarge knitwear or caftans over ample trousers. The collection also features draped tunics, chasubles and blouses with «Belle Ferronnière» sleeves, Madonna coats and skirts, caressed with frivolity and silk layers.

This collection reveals and protects, uncovers and hides, seduces and diverts attention, affirms and suggests. Junko Shimada’s fall-winter is indeed a declaration of love towards oneself and against all hostilities.
