Brilliant colors and floral prints of imaginative beauty are the starting point from which Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of the Valentino maison, set off to create a spring/summer 2019 Haute Couture collection under the banner of vivacity and joie de vivre.
His muse is a jet setter who loves wearing color-blocking garments, combining monochromatic shades to achieve a light effect that enhances the female silhouette. All this through dresses, shawls, outerwear, capes and trousers with a soft and comfy line that allows you to experience a spring with all-around-the-world style. Instead, especially created for the summer are the most spectacular outfits that with their floral prints light up every look with poetic romanticism, even the most daring with generous necklines and slits.
All in the name of a flower with a somewhat retro allure given the prints that recall nineteenth-century themes. Class, elegance and a ladylike appeal envelop this whole collection of High Fashion that is intense and lively, but above all real, true and authentic because created in the name of versatility and comfort that makes every dress perfect to be worn, elegant but not restricting in movement. This is one of the great qualities of Haute Couture that with a fine model can adapt the dress to the woman and never vice versa as unfortunately often happens with ready to wear.
To close the collection a series of sumptuous dresses with ruffles and wide corolla skirts in so many monochromatic pop nuances such as fuchsia and orange, without forgetting, last but not least, the entry into the scene with effect of the queen of the top models of all time, the always fabulous Naomi Campbell, wearing an elegant black minidress with sensual see-through effects.
