Antonio Grimaldi is inspired by the verses of the poet Charles Beaudelaire for his refined autumn-winter collection 2018-19 which showed at Les Salons France-Amériques in the official calendar of the Paris Haute Couture.
Visual emotions for contemporary punk reginette and style icons are wrapped in a dark charm and make sensuality protagonist on the catwalk, paying homage to the Elizabethan and Victorian elegance of the English noblewomen with garments with linear and essential cuts. Minimal also in fil coupé embroidery with plaques, crystals on the long dress mood chandelier, appliques with plumage, sequins in velvet and leather. Silk chiffon in fabrics but also coupe organs with chenille embroidery, guipure lamé and gold liquid georgette, while powder pink vinyl sandals complete the look.
Musa from the winter collection of the fashion house Antonio Grimaldi the young Saudi model Taleedah Tamer, who for the first time has walked the Parisian catwalk wearing the creations of the couturier. On the catwalk also debuts the men's collection, for a couture that looks beyond the genres and with sartorial mastery Antonio Grimaldi presents tuxedo with velvets and wool also inlaid, pleated chiffon t-shirt and resin embroidery that evoke the precious tailoring work of women's clothes combined with black velvet sneakers.
